Liz Mundle’s work explores the ever changing natural environment and uses sustainable techniques and materials. She collects flora on her walks along the Thames and wants the work to capture memories that are rooted in a time and place. She allows nature to express what it wants us to see, often presenting us with ambiguous forms which invite the viewer into a fragile, mysterious world.
Liz is experimenting with different ways of using Cyanotype techniques combining them with photography, collage, toning and hand colouring. All her works are monotypes.
