Basma’s art is an expression of the moment which can manifest in different forms, experimental and intuitive as well as precise with sureness. She is interested in creating a rhythmic space within thought provoking images. Basma’s ambition is for the viewer to stop in a world of speed and chaos capturing the magic.

Embracing everyday living from hopes, dreams and challenges is what makes Basma’s art at first instance looks disorderly but with deeper observation one can identify balance and strength creating tension vs harmony.

Exploring various printmaking processes allows Basma to express different ideas.  She continually explores abstract form and colour to tell her story.
